Editing

This blended editing service includes a read-through of your project for accurate writing (grammar, punctuation, typo checks, etc.), and occasional rewording for flow or ease of reading. Includes proofreading for up to two revised versions of your document (tracked changes on)!

$0.03 per word

  • Unblended high-level proofreading: $0.02 per word
  • Blended line and developmental editing: starting at $0.06 per word

Feedback

As a separate service, I will provide commentary on your project, including areas of improvement and explanations for large or recurring edits, so you know what to do next time! This includes a run-down of developmental edits and beta-reader commentary. This level of feedback is ideal for those projects you’re nearly done with, not for first- or second-round drafts. I am not taking on alpha critiques at this time.

Tutoring

I can work with you (and your instructor!) to help improve your understanding of the material and assignments for any English Language Arts or related course, and your written communication for that understanding.
While curriculum is in process, I am not taking on independent writing students at this time. This tutoring option is for school courses only.

$30 per hour (virtual)

Notes:
(1) I must confirm business projects do not pose a conflict of interest with my full-time employer. Please allow additional time to confirm this with the firm’s records before I take on your project.
(2) I do not speak a second language fluently; I am currently only able to communicate, tutor, and edit in English. If you are providing a translated draft, I can only take on those drafts which were originally written in Italian (skill level: intermediate), and I will require the original document as well.
